It can be difficult to find safe products to buy when you have an alpha-gal allergy. Here are some items that, unless otherwise noted, I have personally used. As you consider these products, understand that everyone has different levels of sensitivity, so please do your own homework on them to determine if they are right for you. My goal in providing this list is only to give you a place to start. And yes, they are affiliate links. Use them as a way of saying “thanks for the tip!” without any additional cost to you. Larabar Gluten Free Bar, Lemon Bar, 1.8 oz Bars (16 Count)   These come in a wide variety of flavors, too, but the lemon ones are my favorite! Be sure to read the label before purchasing, especially if you are sensitive to dairy and milk chocolate.

Enjoy Life Semi-Sweet Chocolate Mini-Chips, Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, Vegan, 10 Ounce Bags (Pack of 6)   I think these taste better than regular chocolate! Make your own trail mix or cookies—or devour straight from the bag!

Nature’s Gate Herbal Daily Cleansing Shampoo, 32 Fluid Ounce   A great AG-friendly shampoo. They also make a conditioner, if you’re like me, and need the pair.

Spectrum Naturals Refined Coconut Oil 14 Oz -Pack of 3   Coconut oil has a ton of uses. Some common uses are to sauté veggies, scramble eggs, or moisturize your skin and lips. Simply Google to find more uses.

San-j Organic Tamari Gluten Free Soy Sauce Travel Packs 20×1/4fl.oz   My favorite soy sauce, and a quick and easy way to add flavor when you have to order a lot of your food plain.

Dr. Bronner’s Pure-Castile Liquid Soap – Almond 32oz.   This all-purpose soap is certified vegan and comes in several varieties. The almond one has a nice, mild scent; the peppermint one feels great after a workout; and the tea tree oil version helps with hair, skin, and nail issues. (Just don’t get this stuff in your eyes, folks.)
